Appeals: Employer account operations decision

Employer account appeals are appeals related to the WSIB accounts of Ontario employers. These appeals are for issues such as classification, assessable earnings, cost transfer, executive officer status, etc.

The process involves an initial review by an Appeals Resolution Officer (ARO) and a telephone discussion between the ARO and the objecting party to discuss the case and the appropriate method of resolution.

It is expected that AROs will complete their employer account appeal decisions within 45 days of it being decision-ready, or within 45 days of the completion of an oral hearing.
