Incentive programs
Our Health and Safety Excellence program can help you reduce workplace injuries and illness by up to 33 per cent with the help of a WSIB-approved safety expert. By joining, you can earn rebates on your premiums — on average small businesses earn $9,000 and large businesses earn $40,000 a year! Plus, you’ll receive an extra $1,000 when you get started.
We make it easier for small businesses and businesses new to health and safety to succeed in the program by offering tailored support to help you make lasting health and safety improvements in your workplace.
Free and low-cost health and safety resources
As a WSIB-registered business you receive a free membership with your industry’s Health and Safety Association and free access to the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety’s Business Safety Portal:
- Contact your Health and Safety Association to access health and safety expertise, best practices, innovative and cost-effective solutions, training and information.
- Sign up for the Business Safety Portal, a savings of up to $1,700 a year! It only takes three minutes to sign up. Once you’re in, you can start using industry-specific resources like templates, online courses and fact sheets right away to help make your workplace safer.
