Instructions for employers:
One letter should be created on company-approved letterhead providing general information about the retroactive payment increase. The letter should not have any claim numbers or names of individuals included in the general letter as a copy will be placed on each claim once the adjustment has been completed. We'll place the letter on each claim.

To: Workplace Safety and Insurance Board
This employee has received a retroactive across-the-board wage increase. The employer believes that the adjusted wage rate should be included in the net average earnings calculation in order to determine benefits in this claim. Please arrange to have the claim updated and notify the employer once completed.
