There’s no typical day in this role. Everyday has its own surprises but I usually start my day with listening to messages and reviewing claims I can do independently. That’s usually medication reviews or treatment extensions. During business hours I start calling customers. That’s when the surprises start!	Kelly speaks. Kelly opens two doors of an office building holding laptop. She walks into open elevator door. She walks up to workstation and opens a laptop. I think to succeed in this role, one of the key factors would have to be empathy. I love that I can make a difference with the most vulnerable population. Whether it’s to talk to them when they need somebody to talk to, or coordinating care for them, I like that I can make a difference. Half of my customers are French-speaking only. Our small team includes the Nurse Consultant, the Case Manager and the Occupational Therapist. It’s a holistic care. Every angle of the care for this patient is covered. If I can spend an extra five minutes with somebody and that can keep them away from going through a crisis, that’s my end goal.	Kelly is on phone speaking.
