The First Responder Mental Health Specialty Program Pilot offers individualized mental health services for first responders who experience mental stress injuries on the job.
The program is designed to provide first responders with quality, evidence-based mental health care that meets their unique needs. This includes:
- A dedicated residential treatment space located at Gateway Recovery Centre in Peterborough
- Robust outpatient and after-care services
- Peer support
Trillium Health Partners delivers the program in partnership with providers across Ontario who have completed cultural competency training and who have significant experience in trauma, anxiety, mood disorders and addictions:
- Bellwood EHN Canada
- Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health
- Wounded Warriors
- Woodstock Hospital
