Hello, Bonjour. My name is Tenzin. I’ve been a Case Manager at the WSIB for about a year now.

A majority of my day is spent on the phone talking to workplace parties, communicating with the injured person, discussing their progress, reviewing medical information.

As a Case Manager, the challenges would be to communicate with somebody at a difficult time. When I’m talking to somebody, I try to empathize, understand their situation, try to put myself in their position and the hard time they’re going through.

Tenzin walks down a hall in an office smiling.

She is shown at her workstation with headphones on, browsing files on her laptop as she takes a call.

Tenzin types on her keyboard as she takes a call.

I really like the fact that I have a good relationship with my manager and my director. It’s really easy to communicate with them and get their feedback or any kind of assistance.
