Find your first aid training provider

The First Aid Program helps create safer workplaces and is in line with the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Z1210:24, First aid training for the workplace — Curriculum and quality management for training agencies. All businesses covered by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act (WSIA) are required to have first aid equipment, facilities and trained personnel in all workplaces.

You can find a WSIB-approved first aid training provider by searching for your preferred location, first aid level, language, training delivery format and/or key words. Training providers may not offer their services in your preferred language(s) in all locations, first aid levels or types of delivery formats listed. Please reach out to your chosen provider for more information about their services and to book your training.

We’ve updated the names for training courses and certificates in the First Aid Program as of June 22, 2026: Emergency First Aid is now called Basic First Aid, and Standard First Aid is now called Intermediate First Aid.

Training providers must display a First Aid Program badge on their website to show they are WSIB-approved to deliver first aid training in Ontario.
