Approved that the 2016-2018 Strategic Plan continue without change.

2017 Board of Directors Surveys

Approved the next BOD Evaluation and Skills/Competency surveys to be conducted in 2018 

Statutory Delegation of Authority Powers and Duties

Approved the Delegation of Powers and Duties as presented and that the actions taken and the decisions made and purportedly made by the officers and employees of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, in administering the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997 since June 23, 2016, are confirmed as valid exercises of power under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997.

Expenditure Authority Policy Update

Approved the updated Expenditure Authority Policy – Delegation of Authority.

Procurement

Approved the following:
 

i. An open and competitive procurement and expenditure for a new Contact Centre Platform e-provider
ii. Open and competitive procurements for Electronic Provider Services specifically Drug Adjudication Formulary Management and Health Services Management and approved the expenditure over 10 years; and
iii. The contract extension with Zayo (formerly Allstream) for the Telecommunications Services and VOIP and WAN Services
